About me

I’m Aurelie Valtat.

On this site I share personal thoughts about global development, communications, digitalEU affairs, innovation in the public sector as well as book reviews on the above, all of which keep me busy during the day in my job as head of digital & internal communications for EuropeAid, the EU’s development & international cooperation arm.

At night and during the weekend, I unleash my passions for aromatherapy, botany, photography and travel. You can see some of this on my personal site, but also on my other site dedicated to aromatherapy & wild ediblesAroma’Tips (in French only).

If you’re fond of flowers and exotic plants like me, take a look at my Instagram account 1 Day 1 Flower –  and help me ID some of them!

If you’d like to know more about me, you can also check out my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
